How We Recycle, Refurbish, and Resell IT Hardware

Here at Procurri, we aim to extend the lifecycle of IT assets long enough that they last considerably longer than expected and save money, increase value and have the lowest possible environmental impact. While eventually all IT hardware does come to the end of its usable life, Procurri works with only  zero-to-landfill ITAD partners to ensure not a single component is wasted.

Recycling IT Assets

Electronic equipment including the IT hardware we recycle is made up of a whole host of different components, including metal, glass, precious metals and plastic. Once all data is sanitised from any equipment, it is broken down into their materials and separated.

Each part is recycled as best it can be amongst other items of its own material, including iron, steel, copper, aluminium, recycled plastic and glass.

Components of IT hardware may go on to make up other electronic equipment or something else entirely.

Refurbishing and Reselling IT Assets

Where IT hardware can be refurbished to a standard that it can be resold and reused for its original intended purpose, Procurri manage this to provide an income stream back to the original owner.

All data is entirely removed from any devices to the highest standards before all parts are fixed and refurbished. Then, Procurri manages the remarketing of the IT asset/s through their own channel, ensuring it is resold to another business and that any money made is passed back to the customer. This generates an often unexpected financial boost for the original owner and further contributes to the extended value gained by the hardware.Want to investigate your options for recycling or reselling defunct hardware?
