Procurri Inventory as a Service (IaaS)

Procurri’s Inventory as a Service program helps our partners ensure they have the right part in the right location 24x7x365.

Whenever equipment fails, it has an impact on your end user’s business in some shape or form, from a minor disruption or inconvenience, all the way through to critical down time which can cost thousands of dollars per minute.

The Solution

Inventory as a service works in a similar way to break fix maintenance services, however it excludes the engineer, so provides parts to defined locations within an agreed SLA. This is often a service partners may want to consume when they have their own engineering services they want to utilize, or maybe they have people already on site as part of a managed service offering. IaaS helps to drive down cost compared to traditional support offerings.

How do we do it?

Upon receiving a defined asset list from our partner, we have several inhouse tools that help us identify configurations of the equipment so we can start to build up a list of spares required based upon means failure rates, market knowledge and trends, manufacturing issues, and coverage required. This allows us to provide a quotation to our partners. Once a customer wishes to proceed, we move parts from our central hubs to our extensive network of 800 forward stocking locations (FSL) globally to meet the SLA. Once product is consumed from the FSL, our team replenish stock within 24 hours.

Options

To be flexible and provide options to best suit our partner’s needs, Procurri has three different programs in place. These include:

  • Vendor Owned Inventory (VOI). This has a far lower fixed costs which covers equipment depreciation and stocking costs. You then pay a variable cost for parts that are consumed and transport when shipped.
  • MMC is a fixed monthly maintenance charge based upon the asset list supplied. This includes all parts supplied, shipping, and storage costs.
  • Parts Only Maintenance
    This is the MMC model but does include triage of error logs and failures to determine the issue.

Procurri currently provides both VOI and MMC options to several its core partners, from leading OEMs through to MSPs and global resellers. We currently support partners in over 80 countries across EMEA, North America, and APAC with our global IaaS program.
