Title: Business Development Representative
Territory: N. America
Preferred Location: Atlanta, GA
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Business Development Representative (“BDR”) to join our World Class Technology Sales team. The candidate should have a strong work ethic and a team-first mentality. A Players only! This is an entry level Sales position. Prior sales experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Partner with Procurri Senior Account Managers to generate qualified selling opportunities in new accounts
- Report to Procurri corporate office
- Meet frequently with channel partners – may include limited travel
- Make cold calls and send introduction emails to prospective clients
- Drive attendance to Procurri marketing events
- Set qualified appointments
- Record activity notes and opportunities in the CRM/list service system
- Attend tradeshows (vendors, user sessions, etc.) and group sales functions
- Strong phone presence and high-volume dialing
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments as directed
- Become subject matter expert on Procurri products and services
- Work closely with Procurri Marketing to leverage social platforms for demand generation
- Leverage user lists, user groups, social meet ups, etc.
- Desire to become fielded outside Account Manager in future
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree required, Strong desire to be in technology sales,
- Goal-oriented professional with excellent customer service, ready to excel in a competitive and fast-paced sales environment.
- A motivated self-starter and multitasker, comfortable with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce and Outreach) and MS Excel, and knowledgeable in sales performance metrics.
Self-starter and hardworking, with a track record of success
- Internship experience cold-calling or in sales/business development roles
- Strong communication, analytic, and listening skills, with a positive approach
- High level of integrity
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Played a competitive sport and excelled academically
- Have a positive, self-driven team-first mentality with a desire to learn
- An interest to enter technology sales
Compensation
- Target Earnings: $50k – $70k USD
