Hewlett Packard Enterprise has the best and the most mature channel of all major OEM’s in the technology market today. Procurri enhances the channel experience by providing a comprehensive portfolio of options for the reseller encountering nontraditional sales opportunities.

HPE Limited Distribution provides you the opportunity to drive incremental revenue streams with your customer base. These programs work complementary to your current offerings and will increase exposure within your account base as well as provide you new opportunities. Most importantly, HPE Limited Distribution allows you to offer the full spectrum of products and services regardless of lifecycle or condition. Below are answers to frequently asked questions centric to Procurri’s partnerships with HPE and this secondary channel.

1. Where does Procurri fit in the HPE Channel?

Procurri holds numerous authorizations for the distribution and resale of HPE products and services within the United States. Complementary to your preferred General Distributor (Arrow, Ingram Micro, Synnex or Tech Data), Procurri provides options for the channel compliant resale of replacement spare parts, End-of-Life (EOL) hardware and/or refurbished equipment. 2. What are HPE Certified Genuine Replacement Parts?

Commonly referred to as “Sealed Spares”, HPE Certified Genuine Replacement Parts are Field Replaceable Units (FRUs) and service parts available for channel sale. These Limited Distribution products are available NEW and Factory Sealed even when the Option Kit has been discontinued, retired or classified as End-of-Life. Spare parts are orderable via the primary “- 001” SPS# clearly identified on every piece of authentic HPE hardware.

3. What are Procurri Remarketed products?

Procurri offers an extensive portfolio of quality third party remanufactured goods in addition to new products. Remarketed products consist of systems, options and spare parts for both current generation and legacy equipment. Procurri is authorized to refurbish, warranty, maintain, resell and distribute Remarketed/As-Is HPE products in the channel.

4. When are Limited Distribution products a win?

Spare parts and Remarketed equipment is appropriate if a…

• customer requires EOL products
• production environment requires upgrades or expansion
• project does not require the latest technology
• short term initiative does not warrant an outright purchase
• need is unable to be satisfied via General Distribution
• legacy infrastructure past support life requires onsite spares
• test/dev or DR site needs to be established

6. What type of warranty can I expect?

All HPE products distributed by Procurri come with a minimum of one year’s warranty regardless of age or condition. New equipment carries an original manufacturers factory direct HPE warranty, and Procurri Remarketed goods are warrantied, serviced and maintained by Procurri Americas.

7. How are Procurri Remarketed products remanufactured?

Third party remanufactured HPE products undergo a rigorous test and certification process in Procurri owned and operated facilities here in the United States of America. Authorized by Hewlett Packard Enterprise to refurbish and remarket these goods, Procurri’s quality assurance protocols are held to the most stringent of standards. Additionally, extended services and Procurri PROtect Maintenance options, equivalent to that of HPE Post Warranty Care, are offered in a vast array of service levels.

8. Can I make money selling Limited Distribution products?

Spare parts and Remarketed products can help you increase your close percentage, add new customers and keep your established accounts “sticky.” Being able to offer the full portfolio of products and services regardless of age or condition, you keep your customers from looking elsewhere and prevent the competition a chance at “a foot in the door.” With discounts up to 80% off of MSRP, opportunities you may have once considered a waste of time quickly turn into margin makers.

9. Can I register a Big Deal or Value Deal with Procurri?

Deal registration can only be facilitated through your preferred Tier 1 Distributor. Procurri’s Limited Distribution offerings are complementary to General and Specialty Distributors, not a competitor or replacement.

10. Are Procurri products eligible for Partner Ready credit?

HPE’s Remarketing and Spares programs do not yet offer the same Partner Ready benefits to as does General/Specialty U.S. EG Distribution. Although reported, promotional funding and MDF accrual, Partner Ready credit, rebates and HPE field representation are not recognized.

11. Is Procurri affiliated with HPE Renew or HPE Financial Services?

While Procurri is an authorized HPE Renew Partner, our limited agreement enables resale for only a select portion of the complete Renew portfolio, including Aruba switching and mobility. Procurri also partners with the Technology Value Solutions (TVS) group of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Financial Services offering pre-owned off lease equipment typically 18-36 months in age.

12. How do HPE Renew products differ from Remarketed Goods?

Although many of the same products are available via Procurri Remarketed, HPE Renew products are remanufactured directly by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. These products come with same-as-new factory direct, day one warranty, and are eligible for HPE Support Service uplifts such as Proactive Care. In addition, HPE authorized channel partners are eligible for Partner Ready credit from HPE Renew enterprise purchases.

13. Can Procurri products be shipped internationally?

HPE channel products distributed by Procurri US are intend for resale within the Americas, specifically the United States, and are expressly restricted for export.
